We believe supporting animals everywhere is just as important as taking care of your own fur kids. Below are links to a number of friends and animal welfare organizations Paws in Motion supports.
Aussie Shelter Rescue SoCal : if it hadn’t been for this site, Paws in Motion’s own Sophie would never have joined the team. We donate a portion of our proceeds each month to their services.
Natural Solutions K-9 Rattlesnake Aversion Training : This service is invaluable when it comes to trusting your dog will be smarter and wiser and at a reduced risk of bites from rattlesnakes. Their handlers were professional. I hope the dogs never need to rely on this training but better safe than sorry.
The Pasadena Pacers :
In their own words: While the Pacers began as a fitness initiative, we quickly realized how much people appreciate the social benefits of a club. Simply put, we are a group of people from different backgrounds who are drawn together by running. Think about it: When you leave your car wearing only your running gear, you shed the trappings that identify you with your “normal” life. In other words, the boundaries that can separate you from your fellow man are removed, creating a non-threatening environment where it is easy to get to know others. Many people who run with the Pacers make the comment, “This is the friendliest group of people!” And they are correct.
California Rescue Dog Association (CARDA) : As members of the largest, and one of the oldest, volunteer K-9 Search and Rescue organizations in the country, CARDA teams have participated in thousands of searches in the past few decades, saving many lives.
ASPCA : American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Consider joining to support one of the hardest fighting, most successful animal protection organizations anywhere.
Drummond Ranch Herding & Training : Paws in Motion’s own Dylan had a wonderful experience working the sheep at their Malibu facility. There’s nothing more amazing than when you see the light bulb go off over their head and they’re doing what is in their DNA.
Paws in Motion is First Aid trained, Insured, and Bonded.
